SENDING YOUR TRACKS
It's safe, secure and easy to send in your tracks. Depending on what you are sending you may use Email, File Transfer Services or even good old-fashioned Snail Mail. Before sending us your files we ask that you use a Rar program such as 7-zip (a free download and excellent program for encrypting files) to make a password protected zip file "archive" of your tracks before sending, and email the password necessary to open your zip file in a separate email once your zip has been sent. When sending back tracks we will use the same method to keep everything protected. This method eliminates any risk of your music files being listened to, tampered with or stolen by unwarranted individuals.
4 OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE TO SEND YOUR MUSIC
If you are just sending in small files such as a few .wav files for mastering or single rough scratch guitar/vocal tracks for music production reference it may be possible to simply use 7-zip to compress the track and email it to us. When emailing files please make sure your email provider allows large enough file sizes to accomodate the file being sent, and send us only one file per email. Yahoo Mail is one of the best in this respect as you can send up to 50 megs per email, which is enough to send most zipped .wav files.
2.YOUR FILE TRANSFER ACCOUNT
If you are already using a File Transfer Service such as dropbox.com, yousendit.com , zshare.com , sendspace.com, etc. just upload your zipped password protected file to your account and send us an email with the link and passwords necessary to download the file and open it. Only our main engineer has access to our email account so this is a very secure way of sending files back and forth.
3. OUR FILE TRANSFER ACCOUNT
If you would like to upload your file to one of our accounts just send us an email once your order has been placed requesting a link and we will provide you with the link and password necessary to upload your zip file. Once the file has been uploaded just send us another email confirming that your upload has been completed and be sure to provide the password necessary to open your file.
4. SNAIL MAIL
If you would prefer not to send your files over the Internet you can mail us a DVD or Blu-Ray containing your password protected zip file. When sending via mail, be sure to send us an email informing us that you will be mailing in your tracks, and don't forget to provide the password that we will need to unzip your file once we receive it. Please see the Contact Page for our Mailing Address.
